Sourcing as a service

Sourcing as a service has started to become a more prevalent option over the last few years.

The days of simply posting your open role, sitting back and waiting for tons of qualified candidates to apply are long gone. The labor market is very tight right now, with record low unemployment and a large skills miss-match between those whom are unemployed and open roles.

As the requirements and difficulty in finding qualified and highly specialized candidates heats up, there has been a move towards splitting out the sourcing function from recruiting.

Sourcing is the process of searching for and finding candidates that are qualified for a role. There are a lot of methods to do this, all are primarily web-based searches. I’m an expert sourcer and have used all sorts of creative ways and techniques to find candidates…and have filled hundreds of roles this way.

Recruiting is the process of taking those sourced candidates, determine those who might be the best fit, contacting the candidates to pitch them on a role, screening, scheduling interviews, negotiating salary and benefits and eventually making the hire.

Benefits of Sourcing as a Service: Taking more control, saving money

Would you like to take more control of the process? Do you want to avoid the hefty fees of 20% – 25% of the hired candidate’s base salary charged by a traditional perm placement firm,? Then “sourcing as a service” is probably right for you!

I utilize a wide variety of methods (Boolean search strings) across a large swath of web sites to uncover candidates that are likely to be qualified for your open role. My turn around time is typically 3 business days!

Want to get started? Great! Here are the next steps…

First, fill in the short form below. I will follow-up with a request for additional information that will help in my search, along with instructions for payment.

Second, I will provide a handful of profiles for your review that will help determine the ideal candidate profiles. After receiving your input, I will start the full search.

Third, you will receive the deliverable, a full list of candidate names (minimum of 100, but typically much more) and links to their profile information. You can take that info and start your recruitment process however you wish. You own this file.
